If you find filled pores, it avoids cracking and increases durability.

Apply a first coating of background paint on the tiles and make sure you use small brushes. First start painting with simple designs and check whether you can do well. If so you are confident, start painting further deigns. Check whether you paint smoothly and make even strokes. Once the paint is fully dried, apply one or two coatings sealant on the surface of the tiles. Sealing is usually done to make the paint stay for long time and locks your painted tiles and makes them more safe. If you are not confident with painting work and you can easily remove the paint with trioxide solution. Just apply the solution and wipe it out.
